1. Programme Delivery Framework

This syllabus operationalises every 15-credit module as 150 notional learning hours. Each module contains 25 integrated learning sessions. Every session combines 3 hours of face-to-face teaching and learning with 3 hours of structured LMS-supported teaching and learning, producing 6 hours per session and 150 hours per module.

2. Common Pedagogical Principles

·         Face-to-face sessions use interactive explanation, demonstration, guided practice, questioning, collaborative learning, problem solving, practical application and feedback.

·         LMS sessions are structured teaching and learning, not optional homework. Activities include guided content, open-book inquiry, quizzes, simulations, forums, research, practice files, peer interaction, reflection and e-portfolio evidence.

·         All online research tasks require source evaluation, acknowledgement of sources and academic integrity. Random allocation of research themes may be used to broaden coverage and ensure individual contribution.

·         LMS evidence should be monitored through completion data, submissions, quiz results, forum participation, feedback and portfolio records.
